House rules for the HOLSTENART
1. SAFETY REGULATIONS
The provisions of public road traffic regulations (StVO) apply accordingly on the exhibition grounds. Delivery vehicles must be removed from the approach area after they have been unloaded quickly. Fire extinguishers, emergency exits and signs must be directly accessible or clearly visible. The aisles must always be kept clear as escape routes.
2. INSTALLATION GUIDELINES
The exhibitor must also ensure strict compliance with all police and other official regulations during set-up and dismantling. The exhibitor shall be liable for all damage culpably caused by him or his vicarious agents/assistants. The height of the exhibition walls is 2.5 meters. This may not be exceeded when designing the exhibition stands. Exceptions and specially designed structures must be applied for and approved in writing by Holstenhallen Neumünster GmbH. Structures and exhibits must comply with building regulations and must be approved by the responsible building inspectorate following application and inspection. Only flame-retardant materials may be used for decorative purposes. Writing, nailing, pasting or opening walls and floors is not permitted. If double-sided adhesive tape is used, it must be removed without leaving any residue at the end of the trade fair, otherwise the exhibitor will be invoiced separately for cleaning on an hourly basis. Loaned equipment provided by Holstenhallen Neumünster GmbH by prior arrangement must be returned in perfect condition. The use of naked flames and naked lights is prohibited. Liquid fuels such as spirits, petrol, kerosene etc. may not be used for cooking, heating or operating purposes. Packing material, paper and other easily combustible waste and materials may not be left lying around or stored in the stands and aisles. Only non-flammable waste containers may be used in the stand area.
3. DESIGN AND EQUIPMENT OF THE STANDS
The use of prefabricated or system stands must be expressly noted in the application. Holstenhallen Neumünster GmbH must be notified of the companies commissioned with the design or construction. Stand designs and/or product displays must not interfere with neighboring exhibitors. Exceeding the stand limits is not permitted in any case. Exceeding the prescribed stand height requires the express consent of Holstenhallen Neumünster GmbH. Holstenhallen Neumünster GmbH may demand that exhibition stands whose construction has not been approved or exhibits that are deemed unsuitable due to their appearance, odor, obvious defectiveness or impairment of third parties be modified or removed. If the exhibitor fails to comply with the written request, Holstenhallen Neumünster GmbH may remove or modify the stand at the exhibitor's expense. If the stand has to be closed for the same reason, the exhibitor is not entitled to a refund of any fees paid.
4. ELECTRICITY – WATER – TELEPHONE
Electricity, water and telephone can be installed at the request and expense of the exhibitor (order forms). It is strictly forbidden to discharge waste water or other liquids except at the designated points. The exhibitor shall be liable for any damage or consequential damage caused by failure to comply with this regulation. The technical facilities, such as lighting, water, gas, spotlights, heating, loudspeaker system, are monitored by Holstenhallen Neumünster GmbH. Independent connection to the lighting, power supply, etc. is expressly prohibited. The exhibitor cannot derive any legal claims or liability in the event of unforeseen, impairing operational disruptions or other events that hinder the event.
5. DOMESTIC LAW
The staff appointed by Holstenhallen Neumünster GmbH exercise domiciliary rights vis-à-vis exhibitors. They must be granted access at all times. Their instructions must be followed. All regulations issued by the police, fire department and regulatory authorities must be complied with. The technical equipment may only be operated by staff authorized by Holstenhallen Neumünster GmbH. All fire alarms, fire extinguishers, fire hydrants, smoke flaps (draught devices), electrical distribution and control panels, telephone distributors and PA systems must be kept clear and unobstructed.
6. STAY
After the daily closing time, the halls and grounds must be vacated by 7.30 pm. Holstenhallen Neumünster GmbH must be notified in good time of any extended stay, stating the reasons and naming the persons concerned. Deregistration is required.
7. WASTE DISPOSAL / CLEANING
The refuse containers are to be used for small quantities of refuse and waste. For larger quantities, containers must be ordered from Holstenhallen Neumünster GmbH at the exhibitor's expense. Exhibitors are obliged to use pads for greasy/oily exhibits. Any soiling of the hall floor and the outdoor area is prohibited. Any cleaning costs incurred shall be borne by the exhibitor. In principle, all exhibitors are obliged to collect and dispose of the waste they produce in separate fractions at their own expense.
8. WATCHING
In order to prevent theft, exhibitors are required in their own interest to either lock up easily transportable exhibition goods outside opening hours or to load them immediately after the end of the exhibition.
9. MANAGEMENT
The official sale of food and beverages on the exhibition grounds is the responsibility of Holstenhallen Neumünster GmbH or Holstenhallen Service GmbH.
10. STAND RETURN
After dismantling, the exhibition stand areas in the halls must be returned to Holstenhallen Neumünster GmbH swept clean and free of debris and waste. Any damage must be reported to Holstenhallen Neumünster GmbH immediately
